Day 4 – 3rd October 2018
Phetchabouri
Today we made it out of Bangkok to Phetchabouri where things got a lot less crowded, scenery got nicer and things got cheaper immediately. Meals are now a dollar each and hotels are ten dollars for instance.
We found this hotel called – Thanyachatara Boutique – which was nice / clean except I couldn’t fit in the shower but sideways. I guess it was designed for just different sized frames.
Last piece missing was a pump, which we located a shop and purchased one. The shop was great as it offered two sections; a high end sections with whatever you need and a local section with a very clever mechanic.
We had a great lunch, dinner and bubble tea later in the evening.
Apparently monkeys around here like to take your food or personal articles; in which Manal was worried about her corn J
When people asked where we were from here; neither Egypt nor Lebanon were recognized….
Tomorrow’s Rain stops at 10 am and we thus plan to start cycling around that time with Hua Hin (75 km distance) being our target.
