Day 20 – 19th October 2018
Ao Loek Tai to Phang Nga
Today we started cycling with these gorgeous cliffs in the background and as every 10 km’s passes; we could feel the beach weather getting close….
On the day before last we got our first flat tire on my front wheel! It was a good well needed 30 minute break to walk the bike and fix it.
20 km’s or so into the ride; it was great to see the 100 km’s sign to get to Phuket 🙂
On one of our stops at 7-11; I asked Manal for an ice cream as she ran into the store, she surprised me with a Dorian flavored ice cream. I was on the fence with the flavor choice but was pleasantly surprised with the flavor 🙂 ; the Dorian burps for the rest of the day however were a little tough. I shortly after bought some heartburn medicine 🙂
We rode 70 km’s and as we finally got to our destination well into the night; the hotel didn’t have any vacancies – big blow as we were ready to sit for the day. Wet and tired we got back onto the bikes and luckily a few km’s down the street we ran into a place offering a comfortable bed !
Now that we are a day away from our target destination; we appreciate all those that have followed us, shared our trip posts and have been reading our material 🙂
