Day 13 -Bought fresh clambs / cycled some crazy hills and got to a sweett comfy bed

Woke up had b fast / took pics of guy with net getting shells / bought shells / manal sat on chaise longue for while with amazing view of fishing village and mountain and relaxing before hitting the road.

The first 10 km sucked all up hill then we met three Vietnamese cyclists doing a 6 day trip to Danang (we were thinking awesome) we asked for advise at a road fork if to go right or left they said right and it was beautiful but hell physically. Was really cool to meet Vietnamese cyclists.

Back to the fisherman – The guy uses a fork like thing that he digs into the sand, with a net (masfa) behind it where the sand just falls away then every 20 meters or so he empties the shells (gandofly / clams / oysters depending on each’s education background) into another net hanging on his neck….he uses a soft lining for the rope around his back to drag the net.

The journey wasn’t easy with the hills………it actually was very taxing today however the scenery was incredible 🙂

Manal’s pic with the cows / bulls are awesome but she doesn’t like it because of their erratic movement and they release from the backend in like .7 of a second at least an equivalent of a human’s week volume of feces comes out as they are just casually cruising 🙂 One would then risk either direct contact or the tires splashing you with that brown stuff if you go right through it.

All of sudden we stopped seeing churches and there are Buddhist temples every couple of hundred meters….

Rented a motorcycled and had dinner in town at a place where you pick the stuff – meat (not sure what animal is), shrimp, squid, hotdog lookin thing, pork, chicken wing…..and they put all on the grill – was great – may go back for breakfast today.
